I would be very careful buying a widescreen TV from Amazon.com. You did not return a TV over 27 "who was not informed purchasing the product. I received the TV and I realized after I had signed for delivery, that there are some cosmetic damage to the cabinet of the TV. (I Amazon.com contacted the next day can not be done by phone, just e-mail) and was then warned that policy. They refused to provide me with a replacement TV.

CustomerService was less impressive and I would recommend purchasing this product from Circuit City or another company, product and ensure an adequate service. If you insist on buying from Amazon.com, I suggest you carefully check the set before you sign for delivery. This is important b / c it's your only chance to reject the product and Amazon.com, in the future, do not you know.

All that said, this is a big screen HDTV for the price. This is aAnchor for a good starter home theater setup. It shows a progressive scan and HDTV signals very well. One thing that is of the opinion that this does not allow for the aspect ratio for HDTV inputs so many sets of Sony entirety. This means that a full-screen DVD will be lengthened from TV.

I would suggest this set for anyone in the world of HDTV at sub-$ 1000 price you specify. However, I urge you to consider the purchase, but only from an electronics retailer suchBest Buy, Circuit City, Tweeter, like Amazon.com or can not with their level of customer service in this area.

I have multiple HDTV. A Panasonic Plasma V10 and an old Sony LCD CCFL September Samsung lacks an important feature of the competitors are – enlarge the image of a high-def signal. When you watch a Blu-ray, for example, I prefer the horizontal black bar of the town of super-film-level zoom in both directions to eliminate. The Samsung can not.

On a positive note, the image quality is very good with excellent brightness and colors. There is some backlight bleedingcorners in dark scenes, but only with my bedroom lights. Gameplay is actually a part of the processing speed, the response – very nice. Samsung offers a complete range of image adjustments.

Sound quality of speakers built much worse than my Sony. Perhaps because the speaker does not turn on again, never know.

In summary, that good television does not use fluorescent backlight with a low ecologicalGreat picture. If you opt for a full zoom capability, try a different provider.

I bought this TV as a Christmas present early on Amazon for the Walmart Black Friday ad for $ 699 50 "Samsung plasma was (pn50b400). After doing some research, I ended up finding (the pn50b430 at Amazon for the same price and that has an HDMI input more about the 400), in comparison. While browsing through the shops and read online, I really was a tendency to Samsung models because of their superior high-quality color and processing images. I was also considering the Panasonic x1, but learnedLook at side by side and fight with some of the checks and … Samsung has better color and more vivid / bright display. Although the brightness pump to X1, it was not close to Samsung. I am a very price-conscious shopping, and not commit myself on a large (for a TV just can not justify to myself) … and TV have been very happy with my choice. I use it for a month and now … E 'awesome! Standard Definition SatellitePrograms look surprisingly good on this TV! The video processing for standard definition on this TV, it blows the competition (especially when compared to LCD, the blocky look me in the playing standard-def). The high-definition content via satellite seems too big … but not really better than other flat panel monitors. Am on a regular DVD player upscaling amazing. I do not feel the lack of 1080p at all … For me 720p looks stellar. OK … Now, for the things that I like. Since this is the low costscale model, without input side are the inputs / outputs (arrghh), but I think it's a small compromise for 1 / 2 price. The TV is very heavy and I see very thin sexy side. They can also be annoying reflections, depending on how you (it is and what is the background). The bezel is glossy black and the screen is recessed about 1 / 2 ", so if you browse the images, or bright objects near the edge of the screen shows the opening of these elements, the creation of the weirdEffect. Also change the display size / aspect choices odd, depending on the type of input (Composite, Component, HDMI, etc.) need to mess around with the options until you find one you like. Another thing … Are determined with 5.1 surround sound for computer speakers (Logitech X-530 is …) which sounds amazing by the way, until I make a nice home theater setup, compliment this TV, and stereo audio output connector is not possible for control the volume, and can therefore "externalConfiguring audio Speakers' on TV to come, but you must use the speakers Volume controls that are used to change the output volume TV. I bought the TV for $ 650 from a local dealer bought it, because a few months ago, PS3 and I must say that I used to be addicted to this television am beautiful.

I have my computer, PS3 and HD cable connected to this screen of 32 inches, but I could not be happier. It 'a bit' too big for a monitor, the resolution is incredibly clean, especially watch Prison Break and 24 in HD =)

I did not want to take an American brand, as I have had mostly badExperience, and are happy with Samsung. Even if they are unable to afford premium brands like Sony, Samsung Electronics is very convenient and offers great value for money.

I would recommend to everyone without hesitation. The only drawback is that all inputs in the back. I wish it would be technically or HDMI inputs on the side.
